Northern Beaches OT was established by paediatric occupational therapist, Alison Francis, to meet the unique needs of children as they grow and develop. Alison graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, receiving First Class Honours and the University Medal.  


Alison is passionate about delivering a high quality family centred service on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Holistic care is of the highest importance at Northern Beaches OT. Alison has experience working with children with Learning Difficulties, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Sensory Processing Difficulties, Emotional Regulation Difficulties, Behavioural Challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays, Neurological and Chromosomal Disorders. Alison also works with children with delayed skills in the areas of fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, visual perceptual skills, motor planning and motor coordination.


Alison creates a calm and secure environment where children are able to explore, learn, grow and develop. 

Alison understands the importance of fostering each child’s confidence as they challenge themselves to build new skills.
